Our story

A shop that is closed is not the same thing as a shop nobody answered.

Most small businesses do not lose a customer because their prices were wrong. They lose them at eleven at night, to a message nobody saw until the morning — by which time the customer had asked somebody else.

Hiring your way out of that is expensive and does not really work: a person sleeps, takes holidays, speaks one or two languages, and costs more than most of these businesses make in a quiet month.

So we built the team instead

Semaji is a team of AI employees a business hires. Not a chatbot bolted onto a website — a receptionist, a salesperson, someone on support, someone who takes bookings, each trained for one job, each knowing only that one business. They pass customers between each other the way colleagues do, they ask the owner when they genuinely do not know something and remember the answer, and at the end of the day the team manager writes the owner a short account of how it went.

Everywhere, in their own words

The dashboard speaks 14 languages and the assistants reply in whatever language each customer writes in, switching when the customer does. They work across 9 channels that all land in a single inbox. None of that is an add-on for larger accounts; it is how the thing works on the first day.

What we will not do

We do not train models on anyone's conversations and our providers are contractually bound not to either. We do not sell personal data. Assistants never pretend to be a named human being, and say plainly that they are an AI when asked. Those are terms in our processing agreement, not promises on a page.

Who runs it

Semaji, United Arab Emirates. Small, remote and written down. support@semaji.com reaches a person.
